Part of the Great Commission is to disciple and to train those that have become Christians. One of the greatest tools we have to accomplish this goal in our churches today is the Sunday school ministry. This ministry is made available, with separate teachers and classrooms for all age groups. This ministry allows us to teach and to learn the great truths and principles taught in God's Word.

Our bus ministry is a growing, vibrant ministry, which makes it possible for us to reach out in the community and bring people to church. The bus ministry not only gives us opportunities to teach Christ to those who need a ride, but also express the love of Christ to those around us. We don’t just preach, “Go out into the highways and hedges.” We practice it.

Jesus said, “Suffer the little children to come unto me.” It is detrimental to the spiritual revival of our nation that we reach the younger generation. Each week we have a church service that takes place for the young people. They sing the praises of Jesus and are taught Bible lessons focusing on the Gospel and how to live for God.

We have an extensive youth ministry that provides a reinforcement to the Biblical principles they are taught in the home. At Gateway Baptist Church, we know that it's still possible for teenagers to be on fire for God, live separated from the world's vices, and stay true to the Bible and the value it teaches. Along the way, there are a ton of fun activities and events. Fun is never the primary goal, but ALWAYS a byproduct of living clean for the Lord and delighting in the adventures He takes us on through the intimidating time of life we call the teenage years.

Whether you're new to Christianity or a long-time member, there is a place for you in our weekly soul winning ministry. Soul winning is what we do to obey the Biblical command to preach the Gospel to every creature (Mark 16:15).

Through our Faith Promise Missions giving, we support many missionaries who bring the Gospel all over the world. Gateway Baptist Church believes in missions! The church has God's unique purpose and mission as found in the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
